You shape the strategic and operational direction of IT Infrastructure & Digital Workplace and take on the professional, organisational, and financial responsibility for the entire area.
Together with IT Support and Information & Cyber Security, you create the conditions for a reliable, protected, and high-performance IT service landscape.
As a central interface between departments, the IT team, and external partners, you bring together different requirements, derive improvement measures, and accompany their implementation.
You manage the collaboration with IT service providers, keeping an eye on service quality, costs, and agreed services.
In IT management, you set impulses for digital transformation and develop sustainable solutions together with the core IT team for a corporate group in industrial mechanical engineering.
Qualifications:
You have 4-6 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure and digital workplace, have already independently realised IT subprojects, and want to specifically expand your skills in leadership and management.
You are well versed in the Microsoft environment with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Entra ID, IAM, Intune, Windows client management, security, permission concepts, and conditional access.
Your technical knowledge includes Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, DNS/DHCP, file & print services, RDS, virtualisation, storage, Veeam, backup & recovery, and hybrid cloud infrastructures. You are also familiar with 3CX, telephony, and modern collaboration solutions.
Experience in supplier management and project execution complements your profile. Additional knowledge in Azure & hybrid services, UniFi, Cisco Meraki, hybrid on-premises/cloud environments, or IT/OT systems in production environments is welcome.
You convince through initiative, entrepreneurial thinking, and the ambition to continuously develop yourself. Furthermore, you have flawless written and spoken German.
