Teacher Training in the Execution of Sentences 100%

The Swiss Competence Centre for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions (CSCSP) is the platform in the field of deprivation of liberty in Switzerland. Located in Marly, we link German-speaking Switzerland and French-speaking Switzerland.

For the Orbe Plain Establishments (EPO), we are looking, from 1 January 2027 or for a date to be agreed, for a:

Your tasks

• Promote the skills of detainees in the following subjects: general culture topics (ECG), French and French as a foreign language (FLE), literacy, fundamentals of mathematics and computer science;

• Support detainees from different cultures in their personal training journey;

• Comply with quality standards;
• Continue developing the training offer, including in the digital field;
• Collaborate with various partners and participate in intercantonal meetings with other teachers in the field of execution of criminal sanctions.

Your skills

• Master’s degree in secondary education 1 or other equivalent training;
• At least 2 to 4 years of teaching experience, ideally in adult education, with corresponding methodological skills;
• Affinity for digital teaching methods (iPad) and active pedagogy;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Empathy and kindness;
• Strong social skills and ability to inspire a love of learning;
• Ability to work in a highly multidisciplinary environment;
• Interest in the field of mental health;
• Good understanding of German is an asset.
