A Unit Manager at 90%
The Association's mission is to welcome, supervise and support young people in their difficulties, so that they gain autonomy. The PEMS CRENOL (Educational Hub in the School Environment), made up of a team of 8 educators and a unit manager, carries out its activities within the schools of the municipalities of the North West Lausanne Crown and offers support and interventions within the school and/or family framework.
• You are… :
You hold a HES social educator diploma or an equivalent qualification and can demonstrate at least 5 years of experience in an educational home with children and/or adolescents as well as a successful first experience in team management. Your solid experience with school networks and working with families, as well as your knowledge of the social network in the CRENOL region, are also essential criteria. You are recognised for your listening and adaptability skills, discretion, dynamism and demonstrate excellent abilities to collaborate within a network of multidisciplinary professional partners. Due to your work with minors, you will be required to provide a clean criminal record. You hold a driving licence and have a vehicle available.
• Working at PEMS CRENOL as a unit manager means in particular… :
- Managing, supporting and ensuring the educational cohesion of a team of eight educators.
- Responding effectively to emergencies and unforeseen events.
- Informing and collaborating with the association's management (deputy director responsible for structures) and schools.
- Providing high-quality individual educational support for pupils.
- Advising pupils, teachers, parents or any other school-related stakeholders on educational, integration, behavioural, absenteeism, delinquency, legal or financial issues, …
- Facilitating relationships between partners in resolving reported problems.
- Devising strategies to address issues by proposing, if necessary, educational, psychological, medical, social or financial support measures.
- Supporting various partners in their dealings with organisations or specialists.
- Providing support within the school and/or family framework to promote the social and cultural integration of the child and their family.
- Participating in various educational projects and events.
