Our client offers a technical working environment where modern infrastructure, reliable systems, and new technologies are central. As a Junior Infrastructure Engineer, you will work on the further development of IT systems and support the analysis of technical challenges. You will combine knowledge of Windows and Linux with initial insights into cloud technologies and automation. The position offers you the opportunity to gain practical experience and develop your expertise step by step.
Responsibilities:
Technical support for questions regarding Linux, Windows, and other operating systems
Participation in the operation and further development of Microsoft Azure and internal IT infrastructure
Investigation and resolution of faults in hardware, software, and operating system environments
Support in the selection, evaluation, and introduction of new technologies
Planning and execution of technical tests as well as accompanying acceptance and approvals
Maintenance of technical documentation and creation of clear instructions
Assistance in training technical staff and in automating recurring processes
Qualifications:
Completed technical training, for example as an IT specialist EFZ, business IT specialist EFZ, or electronics technician EFZ
Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows; knowledge of Microsoft Azure is an advantage
Good understanding of the interaction between hardware and software and ideally first experience with embedded systems
Initial knowledge of Bash or a comparable scripting language is desirable
Enjoyment of technical challenges, IT topics, and learning new technologies
Reliable, structured, and independent working style
Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
