Mandated by one of our clients, we are looking for a permanent position for a Sous-Chef.

At the heart of a dynamic and renowned establishment, the role of Sous-Chef is a unique opportunity to develop your passion for gastronomy.

• Actively participate in menu development in collaboration with the head chef.
• Manage and organise the preparation of dishes while respecting quality and hygiene standards.
• Supervise and train kitchen team members to ensure smooth and effective communication.
• Oversee daily operations, ensure supplies are properly managed and that the production line runs smoothly.
• Contribute to culinary innovation by bringing new and creative ideas to delight our customers.

• Manage the kitchen and team in the absence of the Head Chef, a brigade of 10 people.
• Team spirit, organisation and flexibility will be major assets for this position.
• Continuous hours in a collective setting, Monday to Friday.
• Must have own transport
• Resident of the La Chaux-de-Fonds region

To fulfil this key role, you have a solid culinary training with a strong interest in new culinary trends. You are recognised for your inspiring leadership and your ability to work in synergy with an ambitious and energetic team. Your organisational skills and rigour are undeniable assets for this position. You are motivated, curious and eager to surprise and retain customers through your inventiveness. Desired qualities:

• Chef Cook Federal Certificate (CFC) or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
• Excellent team manager.
• Apprentice training certificate is a real plus
• Ability to work carefully and independently
• Strong sense of responsibility
• Autonomous and flexible
• Resident of the La Chaux-de-Fonds region
• Own transport ESSENTIAL!
