Senior Development Engineer Mechanical Engineering (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
- Concept development, feasibility studies, and mechanical detailed design together with electrical and software engineers
- Active participation in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Performing simple FEM calculations and designing machine elements according to common standards and internal guidelines
- Creation and further development of design guidelines
- Documentation of the design and maintenance of the product data structure
- Selection of manufacturing technologies, materials, and components in collaboration with the supply chain
Qualifications:
- Committed and practical-minded professional with a strong theoretical foundation and enthusiasm for working on high-speed mechanical systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of German and English.
- Experienced mechanical engineer specialising in the development of industrial products in series production, equipped with a FH or HF degree and relevant professional experience.
- Advanced skills in using 3D CAD software.
- Extensive experience in designing components for highly stressed mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of modern production methods and expertise in cost-efficient component design in close collaboration with the supply chain.
- Strong independence and willingness to delegate tasks within an international and interdisciplinary team.
