Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP (OR)
- Preparation and reconciliation of tax returns for individuals and legal entities
- Handling VAT returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations
- Support with bookkeeping and account reconciliations
- Monitoring and processing accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Preparation of business evaluations and analyses
- Ensuring smooth payment transactions and liquidity management
- Support in the preparation and execution of internal and external audits
- Contact person for external consultants, tax authorities, and auditors
- Continuous optimisation and further development of financial processes
Qualifications:
- Completed training as a federal certified financial specialist in finance and accounting or currently in training
- Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a comparable position
- Very good knowledge in preparing annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP (OR) as well as handling tax and VAT returns
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Abacus)
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Strong affinity for numbers and a pronounced analytical mindset
- Good communication skills and team orientation
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form, English skills are an advantage
