Responsibilities:
- Design, development, and programming of control software for industrial automation systems using SIEMENS TIA Portal.
- Integration of HMI and SCADA systems for visualisation and monitoring of processes.
- Programming, configuration, and commissioning of conventional fieldbuses such as PROFIBUS, PROFINET, Modbus, or EtherCAT.
- Conducting fault analyses, diagnostics, and repairs on existing automation systems.
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including circuit diagrams, parts lists, and operating instructions.
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to understand technical requirements and develop solutions that meet project goals.
- Active participation in the continuous improvement of processes and procedures in the field of automation technology.
- Support during commissioning and maintenance of automation systems on site.
Qualifications:
- Completed degree or training in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, or a similar field.
- Proven experience in programming SIEMENS controllers with the TIA Portal.
- Solid knowledge in configuring and programming HMI and SCADA systems.
- Strong experience in the application and integration of conventional fieldbuses.
- Understanding of industrial automation processes and technologies.
- Independent and structured working style as well as the ability to analyse complex problems and find innovative solutions.
- Teamwork skills, communication strength, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to carry out on-site commissioning.
- German and English language skills, both spoken and written.
