IT-Trading Developer Analyst
Your main tasks:
* respond to requests from our clients (Traders, Back-office, Middle Office, etc.)
* manage the run by continuously ensuring that applications are functional and, if necessary, handle incidents
* develop, assemble and prepare the deployment of application components as part of the key projects of the BCV trading floor
* perform corrective, evolutionary and preventive maintenance of the domain applications
* carry out unit and integration tests
* write technical specifications and estimate developments based on functional specifications and business needs
* execute technical projects for the industrialisation of development, delivery, and operation processes of the domain applications
* participate in the continuous improvement of our development and maintenance processes
* provide on-call services if needed
Your profile:
- basic training in IT, finance or sciences (university master’s degree or equivalent)
- minimum 2 years in a banking environment or in the insurance sector
- good knowledge of SQL and databases (SYBASE ASE)
- good command of scripting under Unix/Linux (csh, sh, etc.) and Windows (cmd and PowerShell)
- knowledge of software factories (CI/CD - Maven, Gitlab, Jenkins, Sonar)
- knowledge of C / C++, Python, Java, micro-services architectures is an asset
- knowledge of the Kondor+ (Finastra) or Front Arena (FIS) applications is welcome
- experience in analysing and writing technical specifications
- strong interest in system architecture and IT process automation
- willingness to broaden skills and knowledge in a multi-technology application environment
- ability and interest to develop expertise on topics related to a trading floor (Front and/or Back office securities / derivatives / FX and/or Market Risks)
- strong analytical and structuring skills, solution-oriented, service-minded and team spirit while being able to work independently
- Swiss resident or willing to relocate to Switzerland
- perfect command of French, English level B1
