Payroll Specialist Basel (m/f/d)

Role:
This position is exclusively available at ROCKEN and offers absolutely flexible working hours with options for home office (part-time also possible). In addition to above-average employment conditions, individual training and development opportunities are financially and professionally supported.
Responsibilities:
- Independent handling of monthly payroll accounting for clients throughout the German-speaking part of Switzerland
- Ensuring smooth processing of tax and social security aspects, including comprehensive customer advice in these matters
- Support in resolving customer inquiries and problems related to payroll accounting
- Active acquisition of orders through collaboration with interested Key Account Managers (KAM)
- Close cooperation with the HR department and management to ensure smooth coordination of payroll processes
- Continuous optimisation and further development of payroll processes to ensure the highest efficiency and quality
- Management and maintenance of employee data and payroll information
Qualifications:
- Completed commercial basic training with EFZ qualification, additional training in payroll accounting is an advantage
- Preferred professional experience in independent handling of payroll accounting
- Experience in customer contact or service sector required
- Willingness to travel throughout Switzerland
- Solid knowledge of labour, payroll tax and social security law
- Negotiation-level German skills in spoken and written form, additional languages are an advantage
