Rethink enterprise infrastructures technically
You want to not only operate complex Microsoft platforms but actively further develop their architecture, security and automation? In this role, you take technical responsibility for the entire lifecycle of an infrastructure – from analysing demanding faults through architectural decisions to the controlled introduction of new solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Analyse and stabilise complex systems
You take over escalations in 3rd-level support and are responsible for the sustainable resolution of cross-system problems.
You conduct root cause analyses, investigate performance issues and derive suitable optimisation measures.
You assess technical risks, security aspects and dependencies before implementing changes.
2. Modernise Microsoft platforms
You further develop existing enterprise infrastructures focusing on Windows Server, Microsoft 365 and Identity & Access Management.
You work with technologies such as Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, ADFS, DNS and VMware.
You evaluate new solutions and contribute to architecture, standardisation and lifecycle decisions.
3. Automate operational processes
You standardise recurring tasks with PowerShell and GitLab.
You manage or use update management solutions like Ivanti and ensure transparent, controlled update processes.
You deploy monitoring solutions such as PRTG to monitor system status comprehensibly.
You align with ITIL processes and use an ITSM tool routinely.
4. Take responsibility for changes and projects
You independently plan migrations and technical changes, assess their impacts and coordinate the involved specialists.
You lead technical work packages from conception through testing to handover into operation.
You document architectural decisions, operating models and solution concepts and train technical staff as needed.
Qualifications:
You have an IT education at EFZ level or a comparable qualification and at least seven years of experience in the enterprise environment. Several years of this have been in a technically responsible engineering role.
You bring solid knowledge of Microsoft infrastructures, work confidently with automation tools and have a pronounced security understanding. Crucial is your ability to independently assess complex technical contexts and implement viable solutions – pure support or workplace experience is not sufficient.
You communicate fluently in German, understand Swiss German confidently and have good English skills in spoken and written form. Your working style is independent, structured and customer-oriented.
Benefits:
- Participation in health measures
- Flexible working hours
- Home office
- Attractive employee discounts
- Sporting activities
- Market- and performance-based salaries
- Free fruit and drinks
- Above-average holidays and days off
- Contribution to or takeover of public transport subscriptions
