Role:
You want to support customers not only technically but also actively develop and improve their IT environments in the long term? In this role, you will manage the IT infrastructure of various Swiss SMEs, accompany technical projects and contribute your expertise both in ongoing operations and in strategic developments. You can expect a varied range of tasks with modern Microsoft technologies, cloud solutions, virtualisation and network infrastructure. At the same time, you have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and pragmatically implement technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
Support, operation and further development of customer environments with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune and Exchange Online
Administration and optimisation of Windows Servers, Citrix environments as well as network and security components
Planning and implementation of technical projects, especially cloud and server migrations, further development of Citrix infrastructures and communication solutions
Accompanying projects throughout their entire lifecycle – from requirements analysis and planning through technical implementation to documentation and handover
Handling support requests at various escalation levels, from everyday issues to analysis of complex faults
Advising customers on suitable IT solutions taking into account their business processes and technical requirements
Automating recurring tasks and optimising existing operational processes
Active participation in the further development of internal platforms, technical standards and processes
Integration and support of telephony and UCC solutions based on Wildix
Qualifications:
About +- 8 years of professional experience as a system engineer or in a comparable technical role; experience with an IT service provider is an advantage
Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server and the associated infrastructure components
Good fundamentals in network technology and IT security
Experience with hybrid and cloud-based IT environments as well as in implementing technical projects
Ability to prioritise operational support tasks and project work sensibly
Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style with a strong sense of responsibility
Enjoyment of customer contact and the ability to explain technical matters clearly
Very good German skills, fluent in spoken and written, and understanding of Swiss German
Good English skills; French skills are an advantage
