Quality Technician (M/F)

Our agency, commissioned by a watchmaking Manufacture based in Geneva, is looking for a Quality Technician (M/F) to strengthen its existing teams.

Profile sought:

• Technical training: microtechnology, precision mechanics, industrial quality or equivalent
• Desired experience in a watchmaking or microtechnology environment
• Rigour, attention to detail and developed analytical mind
• Autonomy while knowing how to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Good interpersonal skills to interact with production and suppliers
• Continuous improvement mindset and strong quality culture
• Knowledge of precision workshop environments is a plus
• Knowledge of quality tools: 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA (an asset)
• Comfortable with IT tools (ERP, quality software, Excel)

• Ensure quality control of components and finished products (dimensional, aesthetic, functional)
• Carry out controls during production and upon receipt
• Analyse non-conformities and propose corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Write and update control reports and quality documents
• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of the quality system according to ISO 9001 standard
• Collaborate with production, methods and suppliers to improve product quality
• Use measuring instruments (micrometres, dial gauges, profile projectors, etc.)
• Participate in internal and external audits
