A versatile position for a technically inclined individual who wants to ensure the reliable operation of a sophisticated IT landscape while simultaneously advancing its automation and security. In addition to daily operations, the focus is particularly on security, monitoring, virtualisation, and modern cloud technologies.
In an international and agile environment, you take responsibility, contribute your own ideas, and work on varied IT initiatives. The combination of operational tasks, project work, and technological development offers plenty of scope for creativity.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the stable operation of the Windows and Linux system landscape, including planning and implementing lifecycle measures
Administration and optimisation of virtualisation platforms as well as the underlying infrastructure
Automating recurring operational tasks through scripts, workflows, and modern RMM solutions
Monitoring IT systems and continuously improving monitoring, standardisation, and operational processes
Implementing and further developing security measures such as endpoint protection, hardening, awareness, and incident handling
Collaborating on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 topics as well as cross-departmental IT projects
Qualifications:
Completed training in IT EFZ or comparable qualification with several years of practical experience
Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, server operation, networks, and IT security
Experience with Windows and Linux systems as well as virtualisation technologies
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure; experience with automation and scripting is an advantage
Proactive personality with high personal responsibility, analytical thinking, and a pronounced hands-on mentality
Very good German skills, good English skills, and a communicative and team-oriented working style
