Role:
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you are responsible for the planning, implementation and further development of modern IT infrastructures. You accompany demanding projects as well as the operational business and, as a Leading System Engineer, support defined customer environments as the main technical contact.
Responsibilities:
Planning, implementation and execution of modern IT solutions in customer projects as well as in IT operations
Technical support of defined customer environments as Leading System Engineer
Ensuring standardised system configurations, high operational stability and uniform IT standards
Analysis, troubleshooting and resolution of complex faults and error patterns
Creation, maintenance and optimisation of technical documentation
Requirements analysis, technical consulting and design of suitable IT solutions
Qualifications:
Completed IT training with a focus on system technology, platform development or a comparable qualification
At least 10 years of professional experience as a system engineer or in a comparable position
Sound knowledge of IT infrastructures and complex enterprise environments
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365, VMware, storage solutions as well as Veeam Backup & Data Protection
Know-how in troubleshooting, system engineering, technical documentation and solution design
Very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
