Design Engineer Plastics Technology (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF90,000 - 100,000Our client is an established Swiss industrial company with a global focus and a strong position in technologically demanding markets. Responsibilities:
- Design and development of plastic injection moulding components considering economic and technical conditions
- Support of existing products and development of customer-specific solutions
- Implementation of new technologies in plastics engineering
- Participation in the creation of validation plans, process FMEAs, and production control plans
- Creation of tool specifications and evaluation of tool concepts
- Development and implementation of concepts up to series maturity
- Preparation of technical documentation
- Support of sales managers in customer consulting
Qualifications:
- Successfully completed studies in process engineering, plastics / mechanical engineering
- Design experience using Inventor, Catia, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.
- Experience in plastic injection moulding
- Good analytical skills, structured and results-oriented working style
- Excellent communication skills combined with team spirit and social competence
- Fluent German skills and good English
