Responsibilities:

• Design and continuous optimisation of a scalable, cloud-oriented workplace platform

• Development of standardised client configurations and automated provisioning processes for end devices

• Building efficient management workflows with Microsoft Intune and complementary Microsoft cloud services

• Implementation of modern security mechanisms based on the principle of Security by Design and support of zero-trust approaches

• Further development of software distribution, configuration management, and automated update processes

• Technical support of the Microsoft 365 platform including collaboration, file, and communication services

• Optimisation of user and device management as well as licensing and permission processes

• Analysis of operational data, error patterns, and system events to proactively improve service quality

• Development of PowerShell scripts to automate recurring tasks and reduce manual efforts

• Participation in cloud transformations, technical migrations, and the introduction of new workplace standards

• Management of incidents and sustainable root cause analysis within a structured problem management framework

• Ensuring up-to-date technical documentation as well as transparent asset and lifecycle processes

• Evaluation of new technologies and implementation of suitable innovations for a secure and user-friendly IT work environment

Qualifications:

• Solid education or further training in computer science, system technology, platform development, or a comparable field

• Several years of experience in engineering or operation of modern workplace and Microsoft cloud environments

• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, and end device management

• Experience with Windows client management, software distribution, update control, and configuration policies

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive

• Experience with PowerShell or comparable approaches to automating IT processes

• Understanding of identity and access management, endpoint protection, and modern security architectures

• Practical experience in structured analysis of technical faults and sustainable optimisation of IT services

• Ability to translate technical requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions

• Initiative, quality awareness, and a solution-oriented approach

• Enjoyment of new technologies, cloud engineering, and continuous professional development

• Good German language skills as well as the ability to communicate technical matters clearly
