Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF120,000 - 135,000Role:
As a Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you are responsible for the technical design and operation of our cloud platform. In this role, you take on the task of continuously developing our platform towards automation, zero trust, and cloud native. You consistently rely on Microsoft Azure and further develop our infrastructure with modern cloud platforms, digital services, and in-house software development. You are responsible for connecting classic casino infrastructure with modern technologies and ensuring an efficient and secure IT infrastructure. You are our trump card if you want not only to operate but also to technically shape our cloud platform.
Responsibilities:
You take responsibility for our Microsoft Azure platform and continuously develop architecture, landing zone, network, security, and scalability
You automate infrastructure and operational processes with Terraform, PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and Azure CLI and consistently integrate infrastructure as code into our CI/CD processes
You further develop our identity and access architecture with Microsoft Entra ID and implement modern security and zero-trust principles in practice
As a Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you operate and develop our container platform on Azure Kubernetes Service and create reliable foundations for our cloud-native applications
You ensure stable and transparent operation of our cloud services with monitoring, logging, backup, and recovery and systematically investigate technical problems
You evaluate new technologies and cloud services, prepare technical architecture decisions, and take on technical leadership for suitable projects
Qualifications:
You have a tertiary degree in computer science or a related field
You bring several years of relevant professional experience in cloud, infrastructure, or platform engineering
You understand Azure holistically and know the interrelations between network, compute, storage, identity, security, governance, and automation
You have solid practical experience with Microsoft Entra ID, identity & access management, cloud security, as well as infrastructure as code with Terraform and PowerShell
You are familiar with containers and Kubernetes from productive operation
You analyse complex technical issues in a structured manner
You speak good German
