We are currently looking for passionate and motivated culinary talents for positions within prestigious establishments in the Geneva area

Your duties

• Ensure the mise en place and organisation of your pastry station according to the pastry chef's instructions.

• Prepare various pastry preparations and creations for the restaurant and hotel services.

• Create plated desserts, petits fours, petits fours, and other creations according to the establishment's needs.

• Participate in the creation of refined desserts, respecting the quality standards of a gourmet hotel.

• Master pastry, plating and finishing techniques.

• Ensure the preparation, baking, assembly and decoration of desserts.

• Work with fresh, seasonal and quality products.

• Ensure proper stock management, product preservation and waste reduction.

• Ensure the cleaning and maintenance of your workstation and equipment.

• Strictly comply with hygiene and food safety standards.

Your skills

• Master traditional and gourmet pastry techniques.

• Have an excellent knowledge of raw materials and seasonal products.

• Master plating and presentation techniques for plated desserts.

• Be able to work with precision, rigour and creativity.

• Know how to work independently while respecting the pastry chef's instructions.

• Be efficient, organised and quick in carrying out the requested tasks.

• Have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a pastry chef, ideally in a gourmet establishment or luxury hotel.

• Hold an initial training qualification in pastry (mandatory).

• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit and great discretion.

• Have an eye for detail and be sensitive to product quality and service excellence.
