Job Description

• Test strategy management: Definition, planning and execution of a test strategy based on risks and project requirements.

• Coordination of testing activities: Organisation of campaigns, supervision of internal/external actors, quality reporting and participation in GO/NO GO decisions.

• Management of testers: Supervision, support and skills development of testing teams; dissemination of best practices.

• Defect management: Complete lifecycle tracking of defects, qualification, documentation, patch testing and traceability of requirements-risks-tests.

• Project collaboration: Close work with project managers, developers, BAs and stakeholders for quality/cost/time trade-offs.

• Tools & methods expertise: Mastery of Jira Xray, ALM, ISTQB/TMAP, Scrum; contribution to continuous improvement and Test Centre standards.

• Innovation & optimisation: Use of AI, automation and quality processes to optimise testing practices and strengthen QA culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in test management in an agile environment, with full QA activity oversight.

• Excellent knowledge of Jira Xray and OpenText ALM (formerly HP ALM).

• ISTQB certification or equivalent, mastery of a testing methodology (ISTQB, TMAP...) and an agile methodology (Scrum).

• Ability to supervise, support and motivate testers; excellent communication with project teams and stakeholders.

• Ability to define a risk-based test strategy, balance quality/cost/time and ensure clear reporting.

• Bachelor+5 in computer science - University Master’s degree, engineering diploma (EPF, HES) or equivalent.
