Tasks
Processing and reviewing applications: You independently process and review applications for various permit categories within the framework of labour market admission of third-country nationals and service providers from the EU/EFTA area.
Issuing work permits: You issue work permits and binding decisions on behalf of the responsible migration office in accordance with the Federal Act on Foreign Nationals and Integration and the Ordinance on Admission, Residence and Employment.
Advising: You advise domestic and foreign employers and service providers regarding work permits.
Collaboration: You maintain contact with the State Secretariat for Migration, the Migration Office and various other authorities as well as the applicants. You also exchange information daily within the team.
Labour market supervision: As part of the application review, you check compliance with wage and working conditions and clarify the locally, sectorally and professionally customary wages applicable in Switzerland.
Profile
Experience: You have several years of professional experience in a qualified clerical role and have an interest in legal issues. You communicate fluently in German both in writing and orally.
Personality: Your careful, independent and organised working style ensures professional and customer-oriented task completion, you remain calm in stressful situations and always communicate in a friendly and appropriate manner.
Education: You have a commercial apprenticeship (EFZ).
Language: You have excellent oral and written German skills as well as good oral and written English skills. Additional languages are an advantage.
