Role:
In this role, you take responsibility for the operation, administration, and 2nd-level support of email and communication systems, focusing on Microsoft Exchange (on-premises and online) as well as central M365 services. You ensure the stable and secure availability of messaging and collaboration platforms, analyse mail flows, operate SMTP relay connectors, and automate operational processes with scripts such as PowerShell. You design and evaluate solution scenarios, make architectural decisions, and translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions. You advise internal stakeholders, work in agile projects, and contribute your expertise in areas such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint Online. Your customer-oriented and solution-focused approach significantly contributes to modern, digitally supported collaboration.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the stable operation and 2nd-level support for Microsoft Exchange (on-premises & online) as well as Microsoft 365
With your expertise in Exchange, Active Directory, Entra ID, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint Online, you operate and further develop modern IT solutions
You support solution design, architectural decisions, and actively participate in agile projects
Together with M365 Defender, you analyse security issues and optimise mail flow, SMTP relay, and operational processes
Through automation with PowerShell and tools such as Jira or Confluence, you improve operational efficiency
Qualifications:
You have a qualification in computer science (EFZ) with a university of applied sciences degree or an equivalent qualification
You bring several years of experience with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365
Your knowledge of Entra ID, Active Directory, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint Online is solid
You convince with teamwork, initiative, and very good German language skills, both spoken and written
