Embedded Systems Engineer (m/f, 100%)

Join a small, senior team building wireless, battery-powered devices that run for years and connect seamlessly to our cloud platform. You’ll take real ownership, from firmware architecture to production tooling and field debugging, backed by the whole team.

Your tasks

• Design, develop and maintain embedded software for existing and future hardware products
• Drive improvements and new developments of our hardware, with a focus on low power consumption, security and reliability
• Build and maintain internal tools for production testing and quality assurance
• Design and implement interfaces with other types of sensors and communication protocols

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in C and/or C++ programming for embedded systems, Python is a plus
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS, Zephyr)
• Knowledge of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, SMP)
• Understanding of analog and digital circuit design
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving and debugging
• Attention to detail for writing clean, efficient and well-documented code
• Reliable, trustworthy, and autonomous
• Curious, a quick learner, and a genuine team player
