The EARLY CHILDHOOD SERVICE (SDPE) is responsible for implementing the early childhood policy of the City of Geneva by managing municipal childcare facilities and supporting the childcare structures it subsidises.
To complete its teams, the SDPE is looking for a
Secretary on a 50% Fixed-Term Contract
As a secretary,
you ensure telephone reception and provide basic information to users.
you welcome and guide families.
you manage the administrative tasks of the crèche.
you handle operations related to HR administrative activities for staff (printing attendance sheets, keeping follow-up schedules up to date, etc.).
you manage the logistical aspects of the site (storeroom, equipment, public notices, etc.).
you keep an inventory of consumable products and their suppliers to be proactive in managing orders.
Profile of the sought candidate:
You hold a CFC diploma as a commercial employee or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a secretarial position involving regular public contact.
Fluency in French (spoken and written) is required, with strong writing skills.
Excellent command of the Office suite is essential (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Versatility, interpersonal skills, organisational sense, autonomy, priority management, reliability, public service commitment, and a strong interest in early childhood.
Remarks:
Working hours are scheduled every morning.
Holidays must be taken during the crèche’s institutional closures.
Remote work is not possible for this position.
