Ensuring stable operation and continuous optimisation of server, virtualisation, storage, and backup systems including monitoring availability, performance, and security.
Setup, configuration, and maintenance of workplace devices and peripherals as well as ensuring a functioning IT work environment.
Management of user accounts, access rights, and permissions to ensure secure and efficient system access.
Analysis and resolution of technical issues in 1st and 2nd level support as well as structured documentation of faults, solutions, and support cases.
Implementation of automations and IT projects to further develop workplace and infrastructure platforms as well as participation in rotating on-call duty.
Qualifications:
Completed IT training or several years of professional experience in a comparable role in the ICT environment.
Solid practical experience in workplace engineering, Microsoft 365, virtualisation, storage, and backup.
Very good German skills as well as technical English, both spoken and written.
Experience with PowerShell, Terraform or Ansible as well as with hybrid IT environments consisting of on-premises systems and Azure is an advantage.
Strong analytical thinking, initiative, and an independent, precise working style as well as a category B driving licence.
Workplace and residence: The position is not remote and requires on-site work. Residence in Switzerland, willingness to relocate to Switzerland, or work as a cross-border commuter is required.
