About the job
The Schaffhausen Hospitals include the Cantonal Hospital, the Psychiatric Services, the Radiology and Cardiology Posthof Neuhausen practices as well as the Neurology Practice Schaffhausen Centre. With over 1,700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Each year, we care for around 11,000 inpatients and 90,000 outpatients. In addition, we are an important training centre in the canton.
For our committed and well-coordinated team in the area of hospitality/housekeeping at the Psychiatric Centre location, we are looking for an employee in housekeeping from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.
Employee Housekeeping Cleaning
What Awaits You
- Maintenance, intermediate and basic cleaning on the patient wards and in the public areas of the Psychiatric Centre
- Dishwashing on the patient wards
- Evening meal distribution on the patient wards
What You Bring to Us
- Experience in cleaning in healthcare
- A neat appearance, good manners and a high understanding of elderly and mentally ill people
- Good IT skills
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written (B2/C1)
- A confident manner, reliability and an efficient way of working
- Flexible and open-minded personality with high social competence
- Team spirit, resilience and flexibility
- Willingness to work shifts on weekends and public holidays as well as occasional shifts with room hours
