Export Specialist 80-100% (m/f/d)
Our client is an established Swiss industrial company with a global focus and a strong position in technologically demanding markets. Responsibilities:
Review of international business transactions for regulatory requirements
Creation and management of necessary shipping and customs documentation
Handling of preference cases and origin issues
Contact person for internal departments on export topics
Coordination with customs authorities, logistics partners, and other external parties
Analysis of existing processes and development of process improvements
Support of training and compliance measures
Assistance with import and export transactions in day-to-day business
Qualifications:
Completed commercial apprenticeship and professional certificate in foreign trade, customs, or equivalent
Professional experience in export, import, or customs, preferably in industry
Solid knowledge of international customs and trade regulations
Practical experience in creating and checking export documents
Experience with ERP applications and digital customs processes
Understanding of international logistics, Incoterms, and goods flows
Structured working method, strong communication skills, as well as knowledge of L/C and CAD
Business fluent German and good English, both spoken and written
