UNIT MANAGER for social workers on permanent contracts, at an activity rate of 80% - 100%, starting immediately or as agreed

ARASAPE is an association bringing together the 18 municipalities of the Aigle district and the Pays-d'Enhaut. It is responsible for managing the Children's Day Care Network. It also has the mission to manage the Regional Social Centre (CSR) of Bex and Aigle, as well as the social insurance agencies (AAS) of Bex, Aigle, Villeneuve, Ollon, Le Sépey and Château d’Oex.

ARASAPE is advertising a position within its Regional Social Centre (CSR) of Bex and its branches in Aigle and Pays-d’Enhaut. This position is set in an evolving environment, offering the opportunity to actively contribute to harmonising practices within the social action region of Eastern Vaud.

Your main tasks:

• Supervise, evaluate and oversee a team of social workers, ensuring work organisation, cover and case follow-up.
• Participate in coordination and cross-functional activities with other local managers of the CSR
• Ensure the application of the legal and regulatory framework for aid requests within the municipal, regional and cantonal network.
• Be the point of reference for colleagues, answering questions related to advice to the public, social support for beneficiaries and rights and obligations regarding social assistance

Profile sought:

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree from a University of Applied Sciences in the social field or a diploma from a recognised social school and are trained in team management
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in a social service
• You have proven experience in a managerial role
• Your listening skills enable you to support your team in problematic situations
• Your leadership is established and encourages respect for the legal framework and directives. It is a source of motivation and trust for the staff
• Your knowledge of the cantonal and municipal administration network, as well as the specific care of young adults, would be an asset
