M365 Platform Specialist (m/f/d)

Role:
As an M365 Platform Specialist, you shape the digital collaboration platform holistically – from strategic planning through technical automation to successful user adoption. You are responsible not only for operation but for the entire evolution of the M365 landscape: you develop governance frameworks, drive adoption initiatives, automate with PnP PowerShell and Microsoft Graph, and orchestrate complex migrations. In doing so, you translate business requirements into scalable platform configurations, prefer low-code approaches and ensure through proactive monitoring and compliance management that the platform delivers strategic added value.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the strategy, roadmap and lifecycle of the M365 platform, define standards and establish governance frameworks for SharePoint, Teams, external sharing and information architecture
You actively drive M365 adoption, develop training programmes, build champion networks and transform platform features into measurable business value
You develop SharePoint solutions with a PnP PowerShell-first approach, use Microsoft Graph API for integrations, automate governance workflows and systematically reduce manual effort
You lead and coordinate migrations from on-premises systems to M365, define migration playbooks and ensure data integrity and compliance requirements
You work closely with business stakeholders, translate operational requirements into platform solutions and prefer low-code/no-code approaches with Power Platform
Additionally, you monitor platform status and compliance situation with M365 Admin Center and Purview, measure adoption success using metrics and create accessible governance documentation
Qualifications:
You bring experience in designing M365 adoption programmes with stakeholder engagement and change management
You have solid practical experience with SharePoint Online architecture and enterprise information architecture
You master PnP PowerShell and the PnP framework for automation, deployment and governance
You are familiar with the Microsoft Graph API for cross-service automation
You have in-depth knowledge of M365 governance tools (Admin Center, Purview, Entra ID) and practical experience with Power Apps and Power Automate
Ideally, you have experience with migration tools; Microsoft certifications are a plus; you communicate excellently in English, German is an advantage
