IT Security Officer (m/f/d)

Role:
The focus of this position is the further development and monitoring of information security as well as the information security management system. The role combines security governance, risk management, data protection and awareness and supports various organisational units with security and data protection-related issues.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring and further development of the information security management system (ISMS)
Monitoring IT security and controlling relevant requirements and security measures
Reviewing the implementation of internal and external requirements as well as reporting deviations and security risks
Observing the current threat situation and assessing potential information security risks
Detection and escalation of security incidents
Planning and conducting awareness measures, training and sensitisation campaigns
Professional support for projects and operational issues, for example with documents, concepts and DPIAs
Monitoring compliance with data protection requirements within the framework of the data protection management system
Advising various departments on information security and data protection matters
Supporting multiple locations as well as assisting another cantonal organisation
Qualifications:
University degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
Further training in information security, for example MAS Cyber Security / Information Security or CISSP, CISA, CISM or CRISC
Proven professional experience in IT security, information security and data protection
Legal knowledge or corresponding further training is an advantage
Strategic and holistic thinking
Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration at different hierarchical levels up to management
Strong communication and conceptual skills
High customer and service orientation as well as analytical and implementation-strong working style
Independent and resilient personality
Fluent in German
