Senior Finance and Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF120,000 - 135,000Role:
For our Rocken partner, we are looking for an experienced individual with solid expertise in finance and accounting. You can expect a versatile role with a strong operational focus, where you ensure the correct and timely handling of accounting processes. At the same time, you contribute to the further development of structures, internal controls, and financial processes and work closely with various internal and external interfaces.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the timely execution of the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and ensure reliable financial reporting
You review bookings, account reconciliations, and variance analyses and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards as well as internal guidelines
You oversee the financial accounting of subsidiaries and ensure correct and consistent handling of closing processes
You further develop accounting processes, internal controls, and automation solutions and contribute to optimisation projects
You support audits, technical accounting issues, VAT topics, and other finance-related projects
Qualifications:
You have a solid education in finance and accounting, for example as a finance and accounting specialist, or a bachelor’s/master’s degree in accounting or finance
You bring several years of professional experience in accounting and ideally have experience in an international environment
You are familiar with Swiss GAAP FER and/or IFRS as well as internal control systems and have experience in group or consolidated accounting
You are proficient in common financial systems and ideally have experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power BI, or Workiva
You have very good English skills in spoken and written form and good German skills
