For a dynamic Swiss company in the field of real estate management and site development in the Bern-Mittelland region, we are looking for an independent and committed individual as a Finance Specialist to start immediately or by arrangement.

In this key role, you will take operational responsibility for the financial accounting of several companies and work closely with the management team.

Your main tasks

• Financial accounting & statements: Independent management of the accounting for several mandates/companies including preparation of interim and annual financial statements as well as support during annual audits.

• Subsidiary ledgers & cash management: Management of accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed asset accounting as well as monitoring of dunning and debt collection processes.

• Taxes & VAT: Independent preparation of Swiss tax and value-added tax returns (including mixed-use properties).

• Real estate accounting: Management of property accounting as well as preparation of heating and ancillary cost statements.

• Contact person & advice: Central contact for internal and external partners (e.g. audit firms, authorities) on financial matters.

• Process optimisation & digitalisation: Active participation in reviewing, further developing and digitalising existing financial processes.

• Education: Commercial basic training with a recognised advanced qualification in finance and accounting (e.g. professional certificate in finance and accounting, Bachelor in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting/Controlling/Taxation or an equivalent qualification).

• Professional experience: Several years of solid practice in finance and accounting with proven independent finalisation competence.

• Expertise: Good knowledge of Swiss VAT law and experience in fiduciary or real estate accounting is an advantage.

• Working style: Independent, structured and precise working method with a high sense of responsibility and service orientation.

• Languages: Business fluent German skills in spoken and written form (Swiss German not mandatory).
