About the job
To strengthen quality governance and ensure safe and optimal care for our patients, we are seeking a Quality Manager (M/F) at 50%. Reporting directly to the Operations Management, you will lead the development, structuring, and monitoring of the establishment's Quality Management System (QMS).
As a transversal referent, you will work closely with the General Management, Medical Management, Nursing Management, as well as all service managers (care, medical, administrative, and logistical) to promote a culture of continuous improvement and risk control.

Your Main Responsibilities
- QMS Facilitation & PDCA Approach: Develop the quality concept, map key processes, manage documentation (policies, procedures, forms), and facilitate the PDCA cycle.
- LAMal 58a Compliance, H+ & ANQ Monitoring: Ensure regulatory monitoring, manage compliance with the quality agreement (art. 58a LAMal), define and document Continuous Improvement Measures (CIM), respond to tasks imposed by the H+ agreement, and coordinate national ANQ measures.
- Risk Management & CIRS System: Maintain the adverse event management system, oversee the CIRS system, support root cause analysis, and monitor action plans within a non-punitive learning culture.
- Indicators & Management: Define relevant KPIs with Operations Management, maintain the quality dashboard, and monitor patient satisfaction.
- Audits & Continuous Improvement: Develop and conduct the annual internal audit programme, support external audits, and ensure follow-up on corrective actions.
- Support & Training: Advise service managers, lead multidisciplinary working groups, and raise staff awareness of safety and quality issues.
Your Challenges for the First 12 Months
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the quality system and define the annual roadmap.
- Embed the PDCA method as a transversal guiding principle, formalise process mapping and document management.
- Define, structure, and document Continuous Improvement Measures (CIM) according to art. 58a LAMal, while meeting the requirements of the H+ agreement and ANQ surveys.
- Consolidate the adverse event reporting and analysis system (CIRS).
- Deploy the quality dashboard and organise the internal audit programme.
Your Profile
- Education: Higher degree (health, sciences, management or equivalent), ideally complemented by a specialisation in quality management, auditing, or risk management.
- Experience: Proven experience in quality and process management within the Swiss healthcare system (hospital, clinic, nursing home).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid mastery of the Swiss legal framework (LAMal art. 58a, ANQ, CIRS, H+ agreement requirements).
- Skills & Attitude: Methodological rigour, analytical and synthetic thinking, autonomy, interpersonal ease for transversal work, and a federative stance focused on change support.
- Languages: Excellent command of French or German, with good knowledge of the other language; English is an asset.
