Finance & Payroll Specialist (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF100,000 - 110,000Role:
For our Rocken partner, we are looking for an experienced and independent individual who is responsible for both financial accounting and payroll administration. Our partner is a Swiss company for digital office solutions. In this versatile role, you will independently manage the financial accounting up to the monthly and annual financial statements and, after a structured induction, additionally take responsibility for payroll. You will work closely with the CFO, coordinate a staff member in accounting, and have plenty of scope to actively develop your area of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
You will work closely with the CFO on reporting, controlling, and liquidity planning as well as the further development of finance and payroll processes
You will take overall responsibility for financial accounting including accounts receivable and accounts payable up to the monthly and annual financial statements
You will perform account reconciliations and be responsible for accruals, provisions, and closing entries
You will ensure correct procedures for VAT, payment transactions, and dunning
You will professionally lead and support a staff member and coordinate operational tasks
After induction, you will take over the complete payroll administration including monthly salary processing
You will ensure the correct handling of social insurances, withholding tax, and year-end declarations
You will process entries and exits as well as all salary-relevant changes
Qualifications:
You have a commercial basic education with further training in finance and accounting, ideally with a federal diploma or a comparable qualification
You bring several years of professional experience in financial accounting
You have very good knowledge of financial accounting, closing work, and the Swiss VAT system
You have good Excel skills; knowledge of SwissSalary is an advantage
Experience in the professional leadership of employees is an advantage
Fluent German language skills are required
