You don’t just want to operate IT processes, but automate and measurably improve them? This role combines Endpoint Engineering, Cloud Management, PowerShell and IT Service Management and offers plenty of room to technically shape a modern client landscape.
Responsibilities:
Engineering and continuous optimisation of a central endpoint platform
Administration and further development of Windows 11 workstations
Management of modern device and application management via Microsoft Intune
Integration and further development of existing Configuration Manager structures
Establishment of automated software deployments and standardised deployment processes
Development of custom PowerShell solutions for administration, monitoring and lifecycle processes
Introduction of modern zero-touch and cloud deployment concepts
Use of Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Entra ID and Endpoint Analytics to optimise the digital workplace
Implementation of security and compliance requirements at the client level
Analysis of system issues and sustainable resolution of complex endpoint faults
Support of internal users with technical queries
Participation in ITIL-based service and operational processes
Planning and support of releases, changes and platform migrations
Development of standards, technical guidelines and operational documentation
Identification of automation and optimisation potentials in IT operations
Assumption of a key professional role in the further development of the workplace platform
Opportunity to take on additional responsibility in leadership and coordination of technical topics in the medium term
Qualifications:
Solid IT education or comparable practical qualification
Several years of experience in endpoint management, system engineering or workplace engineering
Very good knowledge of the Microsoft client environment
Experience with Intune, Configuration Manager and Windows 11
Good knowledge of PowerShell and interest in infrastructure automation
Ideally experience with Autopilot, Entra ID, Defender for Endpoint or comparable Microsoft security solutions
Understanding of modern deployment, patch and configuration management methods
Experience with ITIL processes and structured operational models is an advantage
Enjoyment of technical innovations and continuous improvement of existing solutions
High initiative and strong sense of responsibility
Confident appearance and clear communication with different stakeholders
Initial experience in professional leadership or project management is welcome
Motivation to take on a technical leadership or platform responsibility in the long term
