Senior Accountant - Trading - Geneva

On behalf of a rapidly growing trading company in Geneva, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to strengthen the Finance function.

The position is primarily aimed at an operational and autonomous profile, capable of managing daily accounting and contributing to the progressive structuring of the Finance function. We are seeking a hands-on professional comfortable in a trading environment.

Your responsibilities:
- Ensure general accounting and monthly/annual closings according to Swiss standards.
- Manage bank reconciliations, payments, receipts, suppliers and customers.
- Prepare financial reports and ensure the reliability of accounting data.
- Monitor treasury, cash flow and working capital requirements related to trading operations.
- Participate in monitoring transaction profitability and financial analysis.
- Collaborate with fiduciaries, auditors and external partners.
- Contribute to the implementation of tools, procedures and reports adapted to the company’s growth.

Profile sought:
- 5 to 10 years of accounting experience in Switzerland.
- Experience in commodity trading, international trade or trade finance is highly appreciated.
- Available quickly or with a short notice period ideally.
- Solid mastery of Swiss accounting and closing processes.
- Very good command of Excel and ease with an ERP/accounting system.
- Fluent French and good level of English.
- Autonomy, rigour and a true operational orientation.
