To strengthen our family team at KWS Suisse SA, we are looking for a committed and service-oriented personality as Brand & Product Management Expert (m/f/d).
In this responsible position, you will take over product management of our variety portfolio, develop market-oriented strategies and accompany products from testing to successful market launch.
The position is permanent and includes a workload of 100%.
The future workplace is located in the Zurich agglomeration or in the Zurich Oberland. Currently, our office is still centrally located in Basel, just a few minutes’ walk from Basel SBB station.

Your tasks:
• Responsibility for product management of the KWS portfolio in Switzerland with a focus on sugar beet, oilseed rape, maize and cereals as well as further development of product and variety strategy
• Analysis of market, customer and competitor requirements and derivation of corresponding portfolio recommendations
• Accompanying variety trials and approval procedures in cooperation with relevant institutions and internal interfaces
• Planning and conducting variety demonstrations, customer harvest events and product training for employees, field service and trade partners
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with customers, trial partners and other relevant stakeholders throughout Switzerland
• Leading product management projects and close cooperation with international teams in Einbeck and the company headquarters
• Regular travel within Switzerland and occasionally abroad in Europe to participate in training, specialist events and exchange with international KWS colleagues (approx. 30-40% travel activity)
Your profile
• Completed studies in agronomy, agricultural sciences or a comparable field
• Initial professional experience in product management, sales or a comparable area is an advantage; motivated career starters are also welcome
• Agricultural background or experience in the agricultural environment is a plus
• Fluent German and French skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
• Confident handling of common Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as a convincing and professional appearance
• High customer and service orientation as well as enjoyment in building sustainable relationships with customers and partners
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style with pronounced organisational skills and the ability to successfully manage priorities
• High level of initiative, sense of responsibility, flexibility and hands-on mentality
• Willingness to conduct product training for employees, sales teams and trade partners
• High willingness to travel of 30 to 40% within Switzerland and occasionally abroad in Europe, especially for training and exchange with international KWS teams
• Driving licence category B is mandatory
