Senior Linux Systems Engineer (m/f/d)
Our partner is a company specialising in infrastructure services with a focus on automation, system technology, storage and backup. Our partner can cover all phases of an IT project and excel in consulting & engineering, design and project management. Responsibilities:
Planning and implementation of demanding ICT infrastructure projects from architecture to technical realisation
Technical customer consulting for complex requirements and infrastructural issues
Further development and optimisation of existing Linux and cloud environments
Design of modern solutions with virtualisation, cloud infrastructures and container platforms
Support in presales activities as well as in the technical elaboration of customer solutions
Qualifications:
Several years of experience as a Linux Systems Engineer in the infrastructure environment
Sound knowledge of virtualisation, cloud, container technologies as well as compute and storage
Experience with infrastructure architecture, system design and hyperconverged/converged infrastructure
Knowledge of SDDC, SDN, SDS and ideally project management or IPMA
Good German and English skills, strong customer orientation and willingness for on-site assignments
