Stable IT systems form the foundation of modern companies. We are looking for a committed specialist who operates complex infrastructures, continuously optimises them, and ensures maximum availability and security with modern technologies.
Responsibilities:
Operation, monitoring and continuous optimisation of modern server and infrastructure platforms
Ensuring a stable, highly available and secure IT landscape
Administration of Windows servers as well as hybrid infrastructure environments
Analysis and resolution of technical faults in 1st and 2nd level support
Participation in the introduction of new infrastructure and cloud technologies
Implementation of modern security standards and best practices in infrastructure operations
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and standardised operational processes
Support with automations using PowerShell and modern infrastructure tools
Participation in projects related to virtualisation, cloud services and modern workplace
Continuous optimisation of performance, availability and system stability
Qualifications:
Training in computer science, system technology or comparable qualification
Several years of experience as a system engineer or infrastructure specialist
Very good knowledge of Windows Server and Windows Client
Experience with virtualisation, Active Directory and Microsoft infrastructures
Knowledge of Linux or hybrid platforms is an advantage
Analytical thinking as well as structured and independent working style
High service orientation and enjoyment in collaborating with internal stakeholders
Interest in modern technologies such as Microsoft Azure, automation and infrastructure as code
