Western Region Director (M/F/X) – 100%

Do you want to lead a strategic region and actively contribute to its development? Join us to manage the Western Region (Geneva, Lausanne and Fribourg), with around 55 employees active in building automation.

As a member of the management team, you will be responsible for the development of the region in terms of people, organisation and finance.

You will lead strategic projects that contribute to the growth and development of SAUTER in Switzerland. In this role, you represent the company to key clients and major partners in French-speaking Switzerland.

Your responsibilities

Leadership & Management

• Lead, support and develop the teams in the Western Region.
• Supervise regional managers and promote skills development.
• Conduct management meetings and ensure clear communication of priorities.
• Promote a culture of caring leadership based on responsibility, collaboration, rigour and sustainable performance.

Strategic and commercial development

• Participate in strategic decisions within the Swiss General Management.
• Develop and maintain lasting relationships with key clients, partners and agents.
• Identify growth opportunities and support major commercial initiatives.

Operational and financial management

• Take overall responsibility for the region’s results.
• Manage budgets, margins, performance and financial reporting.
• Ensure quality of services from design to maintenance, including implementation.
• Oversee sensitive projects and ensure compliance with processes and quality standards.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a University of Applied Sciences / ES technician, engineering training, or equivalent in the fields of electrical engineering, HVAC, automation or building technology.
• Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a multi-site technical organisation.
• Strong knowledge of building automation, Smart Building or building technology.
• Excellent skills in financial management, business development and negotiation.
• Unifying leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, organisational skills and strong customer orientation.
• Fluency in French and very good knowledge of German and/or English.
• Driving licence essential.
