Role:
You want to truly understand your clients’ business while diving deep enough into the technology to turn requirements into convincing software solutions. In this role as Senior Requirements Engineer, you take on a central function between clients and software development, asking the right questions to comprehend complex professional and technical contexts. You bring requirements to a quality level that enables successful implementation. You operate on equal footing both professionally and technically and apply your experience from demanding software projects purposefully. This position offers you the opportunity to visibly translate your skills into sustainable software solutions.
Responsibilities:
You build trusting customer relationships, conduct workshops, and analyse requirements with attention to detail
In this role, you create clearly documented and specified user stories using your technical know-how
As Senior IT Business Analyst, you take responsibility for the quality of delivered solutions and represent them to clients and stakeholders
You are responsible for the overall technical solution and actively contribute to the system design
In this role, you design integrations between systems, define APIs, data flows, and interfaces, and ensure their efficient interaction
As Senior IT Business Analyst, you identify technical risks early, assess their impact, and initiate appropriate measures
Qualifications:
Ideally, you have a completed degree in computer science (FH, university, or a comparable qualification); further training in requirements engineering is a plus.
You bring several years of proven practical experience in IT business analysis within the software development environment.
You comprehensively understand complex technical contexts and develop viable, scalable, and pragmatically implementable solution architectures from them.
You have a solid understanding of software development, development processes, and agile methods up to modern architectures and technologies.
You can model and extend relational data models, for example using UML class diagrams or ERD.
You convince with high quality standards, a sense of responsibility, and confident communication with customers, development teams, and other stakeholders in very good German and good English.
