Infrastructure Support Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF90,000 - 110,000Role:
As an Infrastructure Support Engineer in an SME environment, you will support customers holistically – from consulting and project planning through implementation to the ongoing operation of their IT systems. You will resolve support requests via telephone, email, remote access and on-site, ensuring that Microsoft environments with Windows Server, Office, SQL Server and Exchange run reliably. Additionally, you will assist with the installation and updates of ERP and database solutions and apply your technical understanding where needed. With your organised, customer-oriented working style and entrepreneurial outlook, you will be a valued contact person for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Responsibilities:
You take on consulting, project planning, implementation and testing of IT systems
You support customer infrastructures via telephone, email, remote access and on-site
You install, configure and maintain common Microsoft products such as Windows Server, Office applications, SQL Server and Exchange
You contribute to the installation and updates of ERP and SQL software products
Furthermore, you ensure stable customer environments through thorough documentation and proactive maintenance
Qualifications:
You have completed training as an IT specialist in system technology at an IT provider or have a comparable background
You have good knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, AD, Exchange, virtualisation, MS SQL Server, WSUS, clients)
You have experience with networks (LAN, WAN, routing, security) as well as hardware (servers, PCs, printers, switches, firewalls)
Ideally, you have ERP knowledge; experience with SME-typical ERP systems is a plus
You have very good German language skills in speaking and writing and understand the needs and customs of Swiss SMEs
You are organised, loyal, committed and customer-oriented, think entrepreneurially and hold a category B driving licence
