Senior Workplace Administrator - Windows User Environment (m/f/d)

On behalf of our banking client based in Geneva, we are looking for a Senior Workplace Administrator - Windows User Environment (m/f/d) responsible for administering and evolving the Windows user environment, as well as handling complex level 3 incidents.
Your mission
- Administer and maintain user profiles, preferences, and customised settings in VDI environments and on physical workstations.
- Ensure accessibility, integration, and proper functioning of a large catalogue of modern and legacy applications on the Workplace platform.
- Collaborate with packaging and platform teams to ensure consistency of application configurations and their proper integration into the user environment.
- Optimise the user experience, including logon times, workstation performance, and application availability.
- Handle complex incidents escalated by level 2 support, conduct necessary investigations, and follow up until full resolution.
- Analyse recurring incidents, document solutions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Workplace environment, support processes, and service quality.
Your profile
- Proven experience in administering a Windows Workplace environment, with a strong focus on applications, user profiles, and session performance.
- Good command of a user profile and environment management solution such as Omnissa Dynamic Environment Manager, Citrix Profile Management, FSLogix, or a comparable technology.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving complex incidents affecting applications, user settings, performance, or Windows session logons.
- Good knowledge of VDI environments; experience with App Volumes or a comparable application delivery solution is an advantage.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as Procmon, Wireshark, or Fiddler, complemented by good PowerShell skills and an understanding of network concepts useful for troubleshooting.
- Technical curiosity, autonomy, service orientation, and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to proactively engage with users and internal teams to understand their issues and build tailored solutions.
- Residence in Switzerland is mandatory for the position.
