MPQ Architect (M/F)
To strengthen our team and support the development of our rapidly expanding structure, we are looking for an architect. The position is aligned with a general contracting company.
Responsibilities:
- Development of new and transformation projects for institutional, commercial, and private clients
- Preparation of technical plans compliant with Swiss standards.
- Preparation of permit application files: Submission and follow-up of APA, DD and SIA phases
- Cost estimation and budgeting of construction costs.
- Organisation and management of coordination meetings with clients, various services/providers, authorities and agents (site supervision and minute-taking)
- Preparation of tender, execution and detail plans
- Financial optimisation of projects through tenders: analysis and comparison of bids, negotiation with companies and subcontractors
- Financial reporting of operations to management
- Coordination and organisation of client meetings
- Occasional supervision of students in training
Profile sought:
- Proven experience: Minimum 5 years as an architect and in project management in Switzerland (advantage: experience in general contracting)
- Education: HES architect training or equivalent, engineering degree, complemented by technical building knowledge.
- Computer skills: Design and modelling with Revit software and proficiency in general IT tools (Excel, Word, Drive, Bexio, etc.)
- Economic knowledge: Ability to assess construction costs.
- Interpersonal skills: Excellent coordination and organisational skills. Team spirit, quality orientation and customer service. Good listening skills, good interpersonal skills and natural leadership.
- Autonomy and rigour: Ability to manage several projects simultaneously. Sense of responsibility, analytical, synthetic and organisational skills. Proactive mindset and versatile management of different tasks. Very good knowledge of the Swiss regulatory framework (laws, standards and regulations). Act in alignment with strategy and managerial decisions
- Main language: French
- Secondary languages: English (advantage)
- Field mobility: Driving licence B and personal means of transport required. However, travel by two-wheelers, motorised or not, is preferred as part of our responsible mobility approach.
