Your working environment

The Department of Economic Affairs and the Interior fulfils important tasks with its ten divisions and over 2,400 employees in police, law enforcement, penal system, migration and integration, municipal supervision and economic affairs. The General Secretariat provides central services for the department and is the interface to the overall administration.

In vehicle registration, we are responsible for issuing, cancelling, changing as well as number plates, temporary plates etc.

We also manage the registration of ships. We are in regular contact with customers, insurance companies and authorities at the counter, by phone and in writing.
