Head of Accounting & Tax (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility

• Overall responsibility for accounting and taxes (DE/CH) across several companies and business units
• Ensuring correct financial statements according to IFRS and HGB including compliance with all group deadlines
• Management of central financial processes (accounts payable, accounts receivable, assets, payment transactions) in a decentralised structure
• Harmonisation of accounting, KPIs and processes as well as building scalable shared services
• Responsibility for tax compliance, liquidity management and banking relationships
• Sparring partner for the business units with a focus on balance sheet and cash flow management
• Leadership, development and performance management of the organisation including transformation and integration
• Responsibility for the operation of the group consolidation tool as well as maintenance and further development of the data architecture

Your expertise

• Degree in Finance/Accounting; additional qualification (e.g. CPA, WP) a clear advantage
• Several years of leadership experience in complex, capital-intensive organisations
• Solid expertise in IFRS as well as HGB in operational application; OR desirable
• Strong understanding of P&L, cash flow and operational value drivers in project business
• High assertiveness and confidence towards management and group functions
• Very good German and good English skills
