Responsibilities:
- Design and implement initiatives that promote student development, wellbeing, engagement, and leadership growth
- Mentor and support students in developing projects that enhance the GIHE student experience
- Organize and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and skill-development opportunities
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners, alumni, and industry professionals to enrich student development programs
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of student engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with institutional objectives
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, training, mentoring, and evaluation of Residential Life Leaders (RLLs)
- Oversee and expand the Residential Life Leader Program, including student-led projects and initiatives
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver high-quality Glion Summer Programs, managing logistics, stakeholder engagement, and student experience
- Recruit, train, and supervise student volunteers supporting events, programs, and campus initiatives
- Promote and coordinate extracurricular learning opportunities, certifications, competitions, and leadership development activities
- Act as the department's Quality Champion, ensuring compliance with institutional standards and fostering collaboration across leadership programs
- Support departmental operations through budget monitoring, intern supervision, inbox management, and accurate recording of student activities in institutional systems
Profile and experiences:
- Bachelor's degree in education, student development, counselling, or a related field is required
- First aid qualified
- Valid driving license is required
- Fluent in English and French
- Prior experience in student development, event management, or a similar role
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of students
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload
- Ability to address student challenges proactively and effectively
- Able to adjust to a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends where required
- Willingness to travel across multiple campuses or external venues as needed

- Location: GIHE Sàrl, Route de Glion 111, 1823 Glion (travels to our Bulle campus will be required)
