You are responsible for the engineering, administration and operation of the Linux and backup infrastructure and ensure its continuous development.
Together with your team, you ensure the reliable operation of application and container platforms based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and OpenShift.
You further develop existing middleware and container solutions such as WebLogic, JBoss and OpenShift and optimise their integration into the existing system landscape.
You automate recurring processes in the areas of infrastructure, middleware and applications to reduce manual tasks and increase operational efficiency.
You support deployment and application engineering and manage the Linux and middleware stack including PostgreSQL and logging infrastructure during ongoing operations and within IT projects.
Qualifications:
You have a university of applied sciences degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
You have solid experience in engineering and operating Linux platforms, ideally in the environment of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
You are familiar with backup infrastructures and have preferably worked with solutions such as Commvault.
You have extensive knowledge in automating IT processes and apply this purposefully to optimise operational workflows.
You have practical experience with application and container platforms such as WebLogic, JBoss and OpenShift, work with quality awareness and communicate confidently in German as well as when dealing with English-language technical documentation.
