Role:
As a Microsoft 365 System Engineer, you are the technical contact person for customers who want to modernise their IT. Microsoft 365 and hybrid infrastructures are your playground. Every project brings new starting points. Therefore, you continuously learn and see directly what your work achieves. On-site with customers, you present yourself competently and convince with pragmatic solutions.
Responsibilities:
You lead projects around Modern Workplace, Cloud, Security, and Infrastructure from initial planning to clean handover.
For Microsoft 365 (M365) with Teams, Exchange Online, Entra ID, and Microsoft security solutions, you take on administration and further development.
You migrate existing customer systems to cloud or hybrid platforms and conduct thorough initial assessments beforehand.
Furthermore, you are responsible for client lifecycle projects with Intune, Autopilot, and modern endpoint management.
You reliably operate Windows Server and Active Directory and implement projects in networking, data backup, and security.
Additionally, you personally support new and long-standing customers, participate in business takeovers, and resolve complex cases in 2nd and 3rd level support.
Qualifications:
Several years of practical experience as an engineer specialising in Microsoft technologies form your foundation.
You know Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Azure inside out and feel at home in hybrid environments with Windows Server and Active Directory.
Knowledge of backup solutions such as Veeam, firewalls from Fortinet or Sophos, server and storage hardware, as well as network components, is a plus.
Initial experience at an IT service provider with changing customer projects helps you get started.
Furthermore, you quickly grasp complex infrastructures and document them clearly.
You also tackle tasks independently and systematically, appreciate direct customer contact, and drive to your assignments with a category B driving licence.
