You actively shape the future of our energy business. With market intuition, strategic foresight and solid energy industry experience, you further develop our procurement and portfolio strategy and provide reliable decision-making bases for an economical energy portfolio.

What you can achieve

• Shape strategy: You develop our procurement and portfolio strategy for electricity, gas, biogas and guarantees of origin further and shape the strategic direction of our energy portfolio.
• Manage risks: You analyse market, price, volume and portfolio risks, assess opportunities and develop effective control measures.
• Assess markets: You monitor the relevant energy markets, analyse price developments and recognise trends and opportunities early.
• Develop foundations: You further develop our procurement and risk management instruments and provide sound decision-making bases for management and risk committees.
• Enable decisions: You prepare complex matters appropriately for the Energy Management, the Risk Committee and other leadership bodies.
• Advise sales: You support sales with complex customer offers, structured products and individual procurement models.
• Shape the future: You help develop new products, tariffs and business models and contribute your market and portfolio expertise.

What you bring

• University degree (FH, university or ETH) in a mathematical, technical, scientific, energy economics or business administration field
• Several years of experience in energy procurement, energy trading, portfolio management or risk management
• Solid knowledge of the energy industry and energy markets
• Very good Excel skills; experience with portfolio, trading or EDM systems
• Knowledge of SQL, Python or comparable analysis tools is an advantage
• German at native speaker level or at least level C1
• Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking
• Analytical and conceptual strength
• High personal responsibility and pronounced risk awareness
• Structured and results-oriented working style
• Ability to prepare complex matters clearly and suitable for management
